Speednexa is a Shopify application developed and operated by Marquee Solution (“Marquee Solution”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Speednexa helps Shopify merchants optimize eligible store images and supported theme assets to improve store performance and reduce file sizes.

This Privacy Policy explains how Speednexa accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you install or use the Speednexa application.

1. Information We Access
When you install and use Speednexa, we may access information from your Shopify store that is necessary to provide the app’s functionality, including:

  • Shopify store information required to identify and operate the app.
  • Product information required to identify eligible product images.
  • Shopify Files and media assets required for image optimization.
  • Theme information and eligible theme assets required for optimization.
  • Information about supported CSS and JavaScript assets.
  • Optimization activity and results, including original file size, optimized file size, savings, asset status, and optimization history.
  • Speednexa app settings and configuration.
  • Subscription and billing status required to manage your Speednexa plan.

Speednexa does not intentionally collect or process customer personal information such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or payment card information as part of its core optimization functionality.

We use the information accessed by Speednexa to:

  • Provide image and store asset optimization services.
  • Identify eligible assets for optimization.
  • Process supported images and theme assets.

3. Shopify Permissions

Files — read_files

Files — write_files
Used when Speednexa needs to create or update supported optimized files.

Themes — read_themes
Used to access theme information and supported theme assets required for optimization.
Speednexa aims to request only the Shopify permissions necessary to provide its functionality.

4. Image and Asset Optimization

Speednexa may process eligible images and supported theme assets when a merchant starts an optimization.
Depending on the asset and Shopify’s available functionality, Speednexa may create or update an optimized version of an eligible asset.

Speednexa may record optimization information such as:

  • Asset name
  • Asset type
  • Original file size
  • Optimized file size
  • Percentage of savings
  • Optimization status
  • Date and time of processing

This information is used to display optimization results and maintain the app’s activity history.

5. Customer Data
Speednexa’s core functionality does not require access to customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, payment information, or other customer personal information.

Speednexa is configured with Shopify’s required privacy compliance webhooks so that it can respond to applicable Shopify requests concerning customer data and shop data.

Marquee Solution does not sell or rent your information.

10. Uninstalling Speednexa

Where deletion is required under Shopify’s privacy requirements or applicable law, we will take the appropriate steps to delete the applicable information.
